Coca-Cola Hellenic Bottling Company is one of the world's largest producers of non-alcoholic drinks. Employing over 41,000 people, Coca-Cola HBC supplies soft drinks to more than 540 million consumers across 28 countries, covering a wide geographical range from Western Europe to Eastern Russia, Estonia to Nigeria. Twenty-five of these countries are in Europe, including 13 in the European Union.

Coca-Cola HBC produces, sells and distributes the world's leading brands of the Coca-Cola Company, serving 8 billion liters to customers every year. Offering a wide range of beverages that suit different tastes, the Coca-Cola HBC portfolio contains over 500 beverage products and package options, including carbonated and non-carbonated soft drinks, juices, water, sport and energy drinks, and ready-to-drink beverages such as tea and coffee.

Coca-Cola HBC has been operating in Serbia since 1997, when the purchase of the IBP Beograd company represented the biggest foreign investment in the what was then the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia. The company has been hiring local employees, continually invested in the local market and supported the local community. Coca-Cola HBC Serbia, with its long-term business plans and interests in Serbia, plays an important role in the economic development of the country, having invested more than 150 million EUR in ten years. Since 1997, Coca-Cola Serbia has tripled its production in order to meet the growing needs of its customers as well as introduced 39 new products and packages. Not only has it been improving its production capacity, Coca-Cola Serbia has invested much time, know-how and financial resources into the high-level quality of its products, environment, customer care, employees and its development in the local community.

Dedication to THE local market

Today, Coca-Cola HBC Serbia is the country's leading soft drinks producer, which together with more than 3,000 business partners creates one of the most successful business systems in Serbia. The main office is in Zemun, where some 65,000 square meters of land are occupied with six production lines, a warehouse and business premises. The company has seven distribution centers across the country. Coca-Cola  acquired Vlasinka, the bottling company of "Rosa" water-leader in the market of natural spring waters, and Fresh&Co., leading producer of juices, thus positioning the company as one the biggest non-alcoholic beverages producing companies in the region. These acquisitions are in line with the Coca-Cola HBC strategy to broaden its beverage offer for consumers and symbolizing a significant and long term commitment to the company's operations in Serbia.

Apart from domestic brands Rosa water, Next and Su voće juices, the brand portfolio in Serbia includes the most famous carbonated soft drink brands: Coca-Cola, Coca-Cola Light, Fanta-including Fanta Orange, Fanta Mango Orange, Fanta Exotic, Fanta Shockata-Sprite, Schweppes-including Schweppes Bitter Lemon, Schweppes Tonic Water , Schweppes Clear Lemonade and Schweppes Red Bitter Orange.

Every day, more than a billion people the world over refresh themselves with Coca-Cola products. They deserve products of the highest quality and this is why product quality is Coca-Cola's most important obligation. Apart from obeying domestic and international laws on food control and fulfilling the requirements of the quality management system ISO 14001 ISO 9001, Coca-Cola HBC has its own standards as well.

Coca Cola HBC hires over 1000 local employees directly. Research has shown that a new job within Coca-Cola HBC opens the possibility for another ten. Just like in any country in which it operates, Coca-Cola HBC Serbia strives to be a reliable partner to the local community and a responsible citizen in Serbia. Coca-Cola HBC Serbia is committed to sharing international know-how and improving the capabilities of local employees to capitalize on local expertise and the diversity of contributions, but also to open the variety of professional opportunities within Coca-Cola HBC family to the employees in all the countries where it operates.

Focus on people development

To help employees develop the skills and experience they will need, Coca-Cola HBC continues to invest in training and development. Striving to develop in employees the most and best of their abilities, the Company invests over 80,000 hours annually in training in Serbia alone. Through its three types of training: systems training-aimed at introducing the employees to Company operations and basic skills requirements; technical training-aimed at improving employees' professional skills; and leadership training-aimed at training future managers and further developing current/incumbent ones, the Company continuously develops its people and creates an environment in which all are encouraged to develop their potentials to the maximum.

In order to further enhance the sales force of the Company and maintain market excellence, the Coca-Cola HBC Serbia Sales Academy has been introduced. All market developers, more than 250 of them, attend the academy program which aims at improving their skills in sales and market activity.

Out of more than 1000 employees in Coca-Cola HBC in Serbia more than 100 occupy positions at different levels of management. The Company is dedicated to fostering the growth of local management capabilities and utilizes sophisticated assessment and development tools to identify, retain and develop talents at all levels of supervision and management.

Focusing on the development of local talent for current and future managerial positions, Coca-Cola HBC has developed a graduate trainee program in Serbia that has already proved to be successful. The Program trainees are talented young people and future business leaders who undergo intensive development programs wherein they acquire the skills needed to work with the company. The graduate trainee program includes recruitment, intensive training, coaching and project management. It lasts up to one year during which trainees have the opportunity to spend time in each department and participate in the implementation of projects that have specific business outcomes. Following the completion of the program, successful trainees are provided with an opportunity to become part of the Coca-Cola HBC Serbia team. Some of Coca-Cola HBC Serbia's current middle and senior managers have come from this program.
