Ivan has been in Ernst & Young since February 2002. He has gone through all phases within the company from junior position up to the management one.  At present, he is theHead of Tax.  He has the legal background and LLM in Tax from the Law School, University of Belgrade. Since the last year he has been attending the specialist studies for tax advisors at the Law School, University of Belgrade.

Ivan is in charge for the provision of tax advisory services to domestic and multinational companies in Serbia.  In addition, he provides tax advisory services in Macedonia, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Montenegro.

He has specialized for VAT, Corporate Profit Tax and International tax planning.  The major clients include: Coca-Cola HBC, Telenor, Mercedes Benz, Holcim, IKEA, Metro, GTC, etc.  He organized many VAT specialized courses for different clients and led tax team in conducting tax due diligences for over 30 companies during the privatization process. During his career within Ernst & Young, Ivan attended number of in-house organized courses such as Transfer pricing, Introduction to VAT, Post-Academic VAT, Client relationships & Engagement Profitability, Quality and Risk Management, International Tax and Introduction to Manager.

Ivan Rakic is co-founder of the Serbian branch of IFA - International Fiscal Association and its member.
