Milan Samardzic

Milan is the Managing Director/Partner of the Belgrade Office of Specht Rechtsanwalt GmbG. . He leads the Belgrade office of a Vienna based commercial and corporate law firm advising and representing national and international clients in Central and Eastern Europe with four subsidiaries in Moscow, Prague, Budapest and Belgrade. Another current position is Assistant Lecturer in Company Law at the Union University Law School in Belgrade. He teaches to the second year students.

Milan graduated from the Law Faculty, University of Belgrade. He then obtained LL.M. in International Legal Studies from Georgetown University Law Center, Washington DC. USA.

As Legal Assistant at the Booz Allen Hamilton/PricewaterhouseCoopers Consulting Milan worked on Commercial Law Reform Project and Economic Policy for Economic Efficiency Project in Serbia. He also spent some time working for the multinational law firms such as Coudert Brothers LLP (International Trade Department) Washington D.C. and Booz Allen Hamilton (International Development Business Division).

On his return to Serbia in September 2003 he was on contract as Advisor on Foreign Direct Investment to Booz Allen Hamilton/Serbia Enterprise Development Project and worked on the improvement of competitive position of Serbian companies in regional and international markets, increase of Serbian exports and attraction of foreign direct investment into Serbia. From January 2004 - June 2006 he was Junior Partner at Ninkovic Law Office, Belgrade based international business law and intellectual property law firm mainly advising and acting on behalf of international companies and banks in Serbia.

Milan took over the Head of Legal Committee position in February 2008.
